Irish people are eating more fast food resulting in an increase in Body Mass Index, according to results published in the latest bulletin from the World Health Organisation.

A group of scientists studied the effects of eating more fast food on body mass and Ireland had the third highest increase in fast food consumption between 1999 and 2008.
