Hospital granted permission to withdraw life support from struggling baby

A maternity hospital in Dublin last night went to the High Court to secure an order allowing it withdraw life support from a baby boy with severe brain damage.

He was born by emergency caesarean section on Tuesday, and his mother died that night after being transferred to another hospital.
