Homeowners could be facing further hefty bills as Irish Water warns that faulty pipes will have to be identified within a year in order to qualify for free repairs.

The company are advising that faulty pipes need to be found within a year, after which the homeowner will have to pay for the cost of fixing pipes themselves.
