Body of young woman found in Mayo house

The body of a woman in her late 20s has been found at a house in Mayo.

Gardaí are now investigating how she died, and the scene has been preserved for a technical examination.

The remains were discovered at a rural house in Mayo Abbey near Castlebar around 12pm.

The Deputy State Pathologist Dr Michael Curtis is due to carry out a post mortem.
