Tests are being carried out today on a possible human skull found in a field in Co. Meath.

It is thought the remains discovered on Saturday afternoon in Clonee, belong to convicted criminal Christy Gaffney, who disappeared last October.

The rest of Mr Gaffney's remains were found in the same area in November.

The 37-year-old from West Dublin had been murdered and his body found chopped into pieces.
