Man dies in Mayo farming accident

A man in his mid-40s has died in a farming accident in Mayo.

It is understood the man was killed while using machinery in Ballindine, near Claremorris.

His body has been removed to Mayo General Hospital for a post mortem examination.

Gardaí and the Health and Safety Authority are investigating.
