Firemen tackle large blaze at derelict building in Dublin

Units of Dublin fire brigade are tackling a serious blaze on Jones Road in the city this evening.

The fire broke out at a derelict church, just metres from Croke Park Stadium, at around 7.10pm this evening.

The road is currently closed and a number of homes have been evacuated in the area as a precaution.

Irish Rail says train services on the Maynooth line are now running to schedule.
