Two bombs -- addressed to police chiefs - intercepted at mail centres across Northern Ireland aimed to kill.

Early this morning a device intended for Chief Constable Matt Baggott was found at the Royal Mail's Mallusk sorting office.

A few hours later a second bomb was found in the post centre in Lisburn's Linenhall Street.

It was destined for another senior serving officer.
