Drugs, ammo and forged documents seized
A man in his 50s is due in court this afternoon charged in connection with the seizure of drugs, ammunition and forged documents in Dublin.
Gardaí searched a vehicle in the Ballymount Industrial Estate yesterday afternoon and found ecstasy tablets and white powder, thought to be an illegal drug.
The driver of the vehicle was arrested and detained at Clondalkin Garda Station.
A number of follow-up searches were conducted which resulted in the seizure of up to eight different types of drugs with an estimated street value of €800,000.
The search of the industrial unit also resulted in the seizure of ammunition and a large quantity of forged documents including blank NCT Certificates, insurance certificates, P 60s, Travel Passes and other documents.
A quantity of photographic equipment was also seized.
