Toddler dies after falling from apartment in Finglas

A toddler has died after falling from an apartment building in Finglas in Dublin.

The 18-month-old girl fell from an upper window at the Tolka Vale apartments at about 9:30am this morning.

She was rushed to the Mater hospital where she died from her injuries an hour later.

It is not yet known how she fell.

Gardaí have confirmed that an investigation is now underway.
