Gardaí to question man after woman's body found in Navan

Gardaí are waiting to question a man in his mid-30's in connection with the discovery of a woman's body at an apartment in Navan, Co Meath, last night.

The body of the woman, who is believed to be in her early 30s, was discovered in Bective House Apartments in Beaufort Place at around 7pm.

A man in his mid-30s was arrested a short time later.

He is currently receiving medical attention in hospital.
