Seven arrested in series of drugs raids as part of Operation Nitrogen

Gardaí have arrested seven men in a series of drug raids across Dublin.

Twenty premises were searched by drug squad detectives as part of Operation Nitrogen.

Over €100,000 worth of cannabis plants and a small quantity of cocaine was also seized.

Gardaí are satisfied that the plants were grown in eleven of the premises and cannabis manufacturing was taking place in nine of the eleven premises.

The seven men arrested are being detained under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice Act in various garda stations across Dublin.
