Man, 18, ordered to court appearance for hitting Garda with car

An 18- year-old arrested after a Garda Sergeant was hit by a car in Waterford has been ordered to appear in court.

The teenager was arrested in the city yesterday after an officer who was responding to a traffic accident was hit by a car near St Herblain Park.
