Gardai are appealing for witnesses to a cash in transit van robbery in North Dublin this morning.

Security staff were threatened with a fake gun outside the Clare Hall Shopping Centre on the Malahide Road just after 10am.

Two men made off with a cash box in a Toyota Yaris which was later abandoned in Coolock.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Gardaí.
