Killarney gas explosion: Laundrette businessman remains missing

The man missing since yesterday's suspected gas explosion in Killarney has been named as local businessman James Gleeson.

Mr Gleeson, who worked in the laundrette where the blast is believed to have happened, is still missing despite continuing searches by gardaí.

The International and Ross Hotels were evacuated yesterday morning following the blast, while much of the building next door collapsed.

A small number of people suffered minor injuries in the explosion.
