Three questioned by Gardaí after high speed M1 chase

Three men are still being questioned by Gardaí in relation to crash following a high speed chase on the M1 motorway in Dublin.

Officers were pursuing a car at about 5.30pm yesterday evening - which they believed had been involved in criminal activity in the North.

Three garda vehicles were said to be damaged in the incident while the M1 was closed southbound for a time to facilitate an investigation.

The three men were arrested at the scene and are being held at Ballymun Garda Station.
