Man arrested in connection with murder of mother and daughter in Killorglin

A man has been arrested by Gardaí as part of their investigation into the murders of a mother and daughter in Co Kerry.

The bodies of 27-year-old Jolanta Lubiene and her 8-year-old daughter Enrika were found at their Killorglin home on this day last week.

This morning, a man in his forties was arrested in Co Kerry on suspicion of withholding information.

He has been held at Killarney Garda Station under section 30 of the Offences Against State Act, and can be detained for 72 hours.
