Man dies in Galway road crash

A man has died in a road crash in Co Galway overnight.

The victim, who was in his 20s, was the only person in the car when it struck a wall at Airglooney in Tuam at about 1.20am.

The stretch of the Balgaddy Road is closed for a forensic examination.

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses or anyone who was in the area at the time to contact them.
