Funeral of murdered Dublin man delayed

The funeral of Dublin man Dean Fitzpatrick - who was stabbed to death on the Malahide Road on Saturday night - has been postponed.

A requiem mass was due to be held tomorrow for the 23-year-old father of one at St Brendan's Church in Coolock.

However there has been a delay in the release of the body to his family and the funeral is expected to take place at a later date.

The victim is the brother of missing teenager, Amy Fitzpatrick, who disappeared without trace in Spain on New Year's Day 2008.
