The High Court has refused a bail application brought by a man charged in connection with the fatal shooting of dissident republican Peter Butterly in Co Meath in March.

Butterly, a 35-year-old father-of-two was shot dead in the car park of the Huntsman Inn at Gormanston, on March 6th.
