Nine arrested after string of burglaries by travelling criminals

Gardaí investigating a spate of burglaries by travelling criminals in the Carlow and Kilkenny areas have arrested nine people.

The arrests were made this morning as part of Operation Laidir which was set up to target burglaries in the South-Eastern region.
