Gardaí investigate fire in Co Kerry

A fire has broken out at a building in Killorglin in Co. Kerry.

The alarm was raised at around 4am this morning at a commercial unit with apartments overhead on Langford Street.

There are no reports of injuries and those living in the building managed to escape before emergency services arrived.

The blaze has now been brought under control and an investigation is underway to establish what caused the fire.
