Four arrested in connection with Lindsay murder

Three men and a woman have been arrested by Gardaí investigating the murder of Jamie Lindsay in Kildare on Saturday last.

The 20-year-old was shot while out walking near his home in the Coneyboro housing estate in Athy.

The four were arrested this afternoon during a search and arrest operation in Stradbally and Athy.

A car was also seized during today's operation.

The men and woman who are all aged in their early twenties are currently being held at Garda Stations in Kildare, under Section 50 of the Criminal Justice Act and can be held for up to seven days.
