Six remain in custody following €750k cannabis seizure

Six people are still being held in connection with the seizure of €750,000 worth of cannabis plants.

The plants were seized yesterday morning following searches in counties Waterford, Wexford, Carlow and Kildare.

Around €60,000 cash was also seized.

The suspects, five men and a woman aged in their 20s and 30s, are being held at Newbridge, Carlow, Enniscorthy and Waterford garda stations.
