Vandals cause €5k of damage to Dingle's Oceanworld

Vandals have caused €5,000 worth of damage to a 12-foot high statue of a penguin at the entrance to a Kerry aquarium.
Gardaí say they are following a definite line of enquiry after two flippers, which were three feet in length, were broken off the fibre glass statue, which stands at the entrance to Dingle's Oceanworld.
The incident happened at around 2.30am on Monday, March 18.
Gardaí have examined CCTV footage which apparently shows a number of young men attempting to remove the penguin.
