Taoiseach to promote economy with business leaders on Washington visit
The Taoiseach and Tánaiste are in Washington today for high-level meetings with business and political leaders.
Enda Kenny will deliver a lecture at George Washingon University this morning before a series of meetings with Irish American business leaders, while the Tánaiste will meet the US secretary of State John Kerry this afternoon.
The highlight of Enda Kenny's week-long visit to the United States will come tomorrow when he meets the US president Barack Obama at the White House.
He arrives in Washingon this morning to deliver the Paul O'Dwyer memorial lecture at George Washington University.
Later, he will attned a series of events to promote the Irish economy with business leaders in Washington.
Mr Gilmore and John Kerry will discuss the North, immigration reform, the EU-US trade agreement and the ongoing crisis in Syria.
