Four arrested in shooting of suspected republican dissident

Four men have been arrested by gardaíinvestigating the shooting dead of man, who has dissident republican links, in Co Meath.
The man in his mid 30s was killed in the car park of a bar near Gormanstown this afternoon.
A Garda investigation is underway after the fatal shooting of the man from Co Louth at 2.30pm this afternoon.
The victimwas shot dead while sitting in a car outside the Huntsman Inn near Gormanstown, close to the M1 motorway.
There were a number of people in the busy pub at the time.
His body remains at the scene, which has been sealed off, awaiting the arrival of a team from the Garda Technical Bureau.
The office of the State Pathologist has also been notified.
The four men are being held under Section 30 of the Offences against the State Act at a number of north Dublin Garda Stations.
Gardai are appealing to anyone with information about the attack to contact them.
