€40,000 worth of cannabis plants recovered in Cork search

Fifty cannabis plants valued at around €40,000 have been recovered following a raid on a growhouse at Tower in Blarney, Co Cork.

Gardaí from the Gurranbraher Drugs Divisional Unit arrested a man in his 40s during the raid last night.

He was taken to Gurranbraher garda station for questioning, before being released.

A file is being prepared for the DPP.
