Hearing date may be set today in Tom McFeely appeal case

A hearing date may be set today for Tom McFeely's appeal against the repossession of his home in Dublin 4.

The developer of Priory Hall last week told the High Court his wife and children were on the side of the street.

Mr McFeely asked more time to prepare his case at his last court appearance. He said he had to dismiss his lawyers for financial reasons but believed he could get a senior counsel to represent him.

Mr McFeely is attempting to move back into his house on Ailesbury Road. He told the court he believes that will happen immediately when the appeal against a possession order is heard.

The developer's family were removed from the Ballsbridge property by the Sheriff on August 10 on behalf of NAMA for defaulting on a €9.5m mortgage.

The case was adjourned last week to today when a hearing date may be set.
