Supreme Court to issue Quinn decision today

Sean Quinn Jnr may get out of jail today if he wins his appeal against his three-month sentence for contempt of court orders.

The Supreme Court is to issue its ruling this morning.

The decision to jail him was taken after his father was found to have stripped up to €500m worth from the group.

Sean Quinn Senior may yet face prison when the case returns before judge Elizabeth Dunne on Friday if she finds he has not assisted IBRC in trying to reverse the scheme.
