The former chairman of Anglo Irish Bank, Sean Fitzpatrick, is due back in court where it is expected he will be sent forward for trial following an investigation into irregularities at the bank.

The 64-year-old of Whitshed Road, Greystones, Co. Wicklow is accused of providing unlawful financial assistance to a group of investors so they could buy shares in the bank.
