Drugs worth €1.4m seized in Dublin; three arrested
Detectives from the Organised Crime Unit have seized drugs in Dublin estimated to be worth €1.4m.
The discovery was made when officers stopped and searched two cars on the N4 near Liffey Valley Shopping Centre at around 8pm last night.
Five kilos of heroin was found and two men, aged 41 and 32, and a 26 year-old woman were arrested.
A follow up search was then conducted at two houses in Tallaght and Finglas and four kilos of heroin and four kilos of cannabis were seized there.
The two men were tonight charged in connection with this investigation and will appear before Blanchardstown District Court in the morning. The woman remains in Garda custody for questioning.
