Gardaí investigate serious Dublin collision

Gardaí are investigating after a serious collision in Dublin this morning.

The collision, involving a motorbike and another vehicle, happened at 6.45am.

The road at the scene of the accident, at the junction of Drumcondra Road and Griffith Avenue, remains closed.

Gardaí say the road is totally blocked in all directions and motorists are being asked to avoid the area and use an alternative route.
