Kentucky farmer swaps candy for corn
A Kentucky farmer has found a novel way of keeping his cows sweet during a major drought.
Joseph Watson has been feeding them candy because corn prices are too high.
The farmer feeds his 1,400 cattle a diet of second-hand sweets which are past their sell-by date mixed with an ethanol by-product and a mineral nutrient.
He says the animals haven't shown any health problems, and are on track with weight gain.
