Baby girl dies after fall from top floor of Dublin apartment block

An 18-month-old girl has died after falling from the window of an apartment in Dublin.

The accident happened on the fifth floor of the complex at Cross Guns Quay, Phibsboro, at around 4pm.

The toddler was taken to Temple Street Children’s Hospital in a critical condition but died from her injuries.

A Garda spokesman said the incident is being treated as a tragic accident.

Gardaí at Mountjoy Garda Station are investigating.
