Gardaí still searching for Peter Darragh Quinn
Peter Darragh Quinn, the nephew of businessman Sean Quinn, is still wanted by Gardaí.
He's been on the run since last Friday, when he failed to appear at the High Court, where he and his cousin Sean Quinn Junior were each sentenced to three months for contempt of court orders.
Justice Elizabeth Dunne ruled that the men had not made appropriate efforts to reverse steps taken to put assets worth hundreds of millions of euro out of the reach of the IBRC, formerly Anglo Irish Bank.
It's thought Peter Darragh Quinn may have left the country - but Gardaí say a European arrest warrant cannot be issued as his offence is a civil and not criminal matter.
Sean Quinn Senior avoided prison and has been given more time by the court to reverse a scheme to block Anglo Irish Bank from getting hold of assets.
Tanaiste Eamon Gilmore said Peter Darragh Quinn should move to resolve the high court case.
"The court has made a decision and I think we should all respect the decision of the court. I don't know the reasons that Quinn didn't appear at the court and hasn't been available since then.
"As far as I'm concerned, the law should take its course."
