Troika orders Govt to curb spending on health
The Troika has ordered the Government to prepare State assets for sale and to halt the overspending in health.
However the European Commission, International Monetary Fund and European Central Bank have praised Ireland for passing the latest review of the bailout.
Ireland has reached the halfway point of the programme and the Government is now being given the money needed to run the country for the next three months.
However, the Troika is concerned at the overspending in Health and wants it sorted by the end of September.
They have also demanded the Coalition have State assets ready for sale by the end of this year, while renegotiating bank debt also continues with the Finance Minister Michael Noonan hoping to do a deal on as much as possible.
In a statement, Commissioner Ollie Rehn has said work by the troika on this will continue over the summer in time for a deal in October.
