House prices continue to fall

House prices are continuing to fall, with apartments in Dublin now worth just 40 per cent of their peak value.

That is according to the latest figures from the CSO.

The average home has dropped in value by one sixth in the last year alone.

However, in Dublin, house prices actually rose slightly last month, by 0.5%.
