Man held in connection with murder of Romanian teen

Gardaí in Dublin have arrested a man in connection with the murder of Marioara Rostas.

The body of the 18-year-old, who disappeared from Dublin City Centre four years ago, was found in January in the Wicklow Mountains.

It emerged following a post mortem that Marioara had been shot in the head.

Gardaí believe she was brutalised for several day before her death.

A man in his early 30s in was arrested in Dublin this afternoon and taken to Pearse St. Garda Station for questioning.
