Gardaí investigate Monaghan body find

Gardaí are investigating the discovery of a man's body in Co. Monaghan yesterday evening.

The remains of a man in his 30s were found in Lake Muckno in Castleblayney.

His body has been removed to Our Lady of Lourdes hospital in Drogheda and a post mortem examination is due to be carried out today.

The man is understood to have been missing from the Crossmaglen area of South Armagh since last week.
