Burton puts faith in easy-pay methods as Household Charge deadline looms

Social Protection Minister Joan Burton has said that she is confident that the majority of people will pay the new Household Charge, which is due at the end of this month.

So far, around 250,000 of the 1.6 million households who are liable to pay the €100 charge have actually registered.
