Gardaí wait on post mortems of suspected murder victims
Post mortem examinations will be carried out today on the bodies of two men found dead in Co. Louth on Wednesday night.
The discovery was made at the Ravensdale Forest near Dundalk, after fire services were called to deal with a car that was on fire.
Gardaí are investigating whether the pair were shot before the vehicle was set alight.
The men are believed to be aged in their 20's and 30's, however it is expected DNA and dental records will be used to formally identify them.
The post mortems will be performed later at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda.
