US investment forum 'very worthwhile', says Kenny

Taoiseach Enda Kenny has said a number of American companies have made a commitment to investigate investment opportunities in Ireland.

His comments follow yesterday's 'Invest In Ireland' forum organised by former US President Bill Clinton in New York.

Mr Kenny insisted that Ireland's corporation tax rate of 12.5% was safe, and described the two-day trip as a "very worthwhile visit".
