Man detained after Wexford incident

A man has been detained following an incident outside Wexford town.

Gardaí say the incident which began around 6pm yesterday, concluded earlier this afternoon. No further details area available at present.

The man who is in his 30s was detained a short time ago.

A media blackout was in place for the duration of the incident.
