Gardaí arrest three in Limerick murder investigation

Three people have been arrested by Gardaí investigating the murder of a 43-year-old man in Limerick city last week.

Ger McMahon died after a knife attack on Lenihan Avenue last Wednesday.

Three people - a man in his thirties, a woman in her forties and a young woman - were detained in the Mungret area of Limerick this morning.

They are being held at Henry Street, Mayorstone and Roxboro Road Garda Stations under Section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act.
