Reports of car going in to sea off Howth

Emergency services have been called to Howth in North Dublin after a car was seen going into the water off the west pier.

There are unconfirmed reports that one person was in the vehicle at the time of the incident.

The Coast Guard was alerted at 3.15pm this afternoon and remain at the scene along with Gardaí and the Fire Brigade.
