Blaze contained at Macroom facility

Firefighters who spent more than seven hours tackling a huge blaze at an industrial premises in Co Cork have now brought it under control.

The fire broke out at the pallets manufacturing firm, Mid-Cork Pallets in Macroom, at 7.30am this morning.
