Boy seriously injured in Dublin hit-and-run

Gardaí in Dublin are appealing for information after a 12-year-old boy was struck by a car, which then fled the scene.

Gardaí in Dublin are appealing for information after a 12-year-old boy was struck by a car, which then fled the scene.

It happened at the junction of St. Ethna Rd and Fassaugh Rd in Cabra at about 5.40pm this evening.

The car is described as a 01 D Silver Ford Focus.

The boy is in a serious condition in Temple St Hospital.

Diversions are in place, while a technical examination of the scene is carried out.

Anyone with any information is asked to contact the gardaí at Cabra.
