Belfast mayor apologises for cadet snub

Sinn Féin Lord Mayor of Belfast Niall O Donnghaile has apologised over his refusal to present a British army cadet with an award.

Mr O Donnghaile said he did not mean to offend the teenage girl and her family during a presentation ceremony at Belfast City Hall.
