Father loses court bid to have sons returned to him in New York

A father who claims his sons were wrongly removed from New York last year by his former wife has lost a Supreme court appeal to have the boys returned from Ireland.

The court has upheld the decision of the High Court to consider the views of the children, aged seven and eight, who were old enought to give clear, cogent reasons why they did not want to go back.
